Short version: hatsizeschart.com is a free measurement reference. Use it freely, double-check the brand's own size chart before you buy, and don't republish our tables as your own.
Hat Sizes Chart is a free, independent reference for hat sizing: one accurate table, a converter, measuring guides and a printable measuring tape. We do not sell hats, there is no account or login, and nothing can be purchased here. By using the site you accept these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The charts convert head circumference into hat sizing systems correctly, but letter sizes (S, M, L, XL) and every brand-specific fit vary by manufacturer — a medium from one brand is not a medium from the next. Materials also stretch and shrink with wear. Always check the brand's own size chart before buying. We are not affiliated with any hat brand, and brand names that appear in guides are descriptive only.
The site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We work hard to keep every number checked — the table is generated from one tested data file, and the date of the last check is printed in the footer — but the fitting decision is yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including a hat that doesn't fit.
The charts, guides, converter and printable measuring tape on this site belong to hatsizeschart.com. You are welcome to use the site freely — including personal, classroom and workshop use — and to print the paper measuring tape. You may not scrape the site, republish our tables wholesale, or present the site's content as your own without written permission. The underlying conversion rules (circumference in inches ÷ π, rounded to the nearest 1/8, and the same range expressed in cm) are standard arithmetic and remain free for anyone to use.
The site links to third-party pages we don't control; what happens there follows their terms and policies, not ours. Any advertising sits outside the converter and the charts, and affiliate links, when added, will be disclosed on the page they appear on.
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The current version always lives at this URL and takes effect when posted, so it is worth checking back occasionally. Nothing here overrides consumer rights you may have under the law where you live, and nothing on the site is legal or professional advice.
